The distance between the central and the 5^t^h bright fringe = 1.5cm

Therefore b = 0.3 = 3 x 10^-3 m. Also

given d = 0.3 mm = 3 x 10^-4 m, D = 1.5 m

= 6 x 10^-⁷m

= 600 nm.
